We are pleased to announce that Kentaro Hayashi has been appointed as President, effective January 1, 2026.
Hayashi joined SSE Pacifico in November 2023 and has been leading the business as Deputy Commercial Director since August 2024.

Biography:
Kentaro Hayashi brings over 15 years of extensive experience in large-scale infrastructure and energy investments. He began his career in 2006 at Itochu Corporation, where he focused on EPC projects and investments in petrochemical plants. Following a tenure in investment banking providing M&A advisory services, he joined Mitsubishi Corporation in 2013 to lead the development and investment of liquefied natural gas (LNG) projects.
In 2021, he moved to Ørsted Japan, where he was instrumental in developing and bidding for Japanese offshore wind projects. He joined SSE Pacifico in November 2023, serving as Senior Bid Manager and subsequently as Deputy Commercial Director responsible for procurement and bidding. He assumed the role of President on January 1, 2026.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Faculty of Commerce and Management at Hitotsubashi University.
