SSE Pacifico Employees Deliver Special Lecture at National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Wakayama College

Employees from SSE Pacifico delivered a special lecture on offshore wind power projects at the National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Wakayama College, located in Gobo City, Wakayama Prefecture.
Approximately 220 students attended the session, gaining valuable insights into the fundamentals and future potential of offshore wind energy.
Student feedback reflected strong engagement and curiosity:
- “I learned for the first time that there are different types of wind turbines.”
- “The manufacturing process of wind turbines was fascinating.”
- “The structural design of wind turbines was very interesting.”
Some students also showed a keen interest in disaster preparedness, noting:
- “I was glad to learn that wind turbines stop during typhoons.”
- “I want to learn more about countermeasures for natural disasters such as typhoons and earthquakes.”
